Unique shape of Gijduvan ceramic school called “ringing” bowl or “dug’obi kosa”-(shouting or crying bowl). The story of a bowl goes back to the several centuries ago. The bowls were kept in visible place in the house and filled with food. It usually remained the owner of the house about one of his duties- to be breadwinner. When he saw it empty he did the shopping for the family. Legend says that the bowl shouted “Fill me with food and there will be baraka(satiety) in the family”.
