Big sugar pot. Gijduvan. 2025.
Traditional sugar bowl (kanddon). Fired in a pottery kiln – a humdon – at a temperature of 980–1000°C, the piece is considered resistant to both heat and cold. The sugar bowl is decorated with traditional Gijduvan ceramic patterns, including the meander and morak motifs. The morak – a serpent-like pattern – symbolizes protection.
