Plate – 9th–10th centuries

This dish is a reproduction of Samanid-period pottery (9th–10th centuries). In the center of the dish is a “dastagul” motif composed of six branches, surrounded by an ornament featuring Arabic calligraphy. The area around the Arabic script is filled with dot decorations.
